June 2018 Newsletter

Welcome to our first newsletter. We thought this would be a good way to keep you up-to-date and informed about new developments and changes to the world of MicroBio air samplers. We have a couple of things to tell you. Highlights include MicroBio MB1 improvements, our factory maintenance shutdown and personalised calibration certificates. Don’t forget, you can always keep up-to-date on latest product details and specification by visiting our website.

MicroBio MB1 – Product Improvements

The MicroBio MB1 model has been with us for many years now, proving to have long life reliability with great success in many industries, such as food, dairy, healthcare settings, pharmaceutical and indoor air quality organisations around the world.

Over the past 12 months gradual improvements have been made to the design and quality. Further enhancements are being introduced and the MicroBio MB1 is now fitted with a new head assembly design. The new part is manufactured from precision machined anodised aluminium offering a cleaner, simpler look with increased levels of robustness, resulting in a higher quality feel and look to the product.

New plate support posts on the head assembly replace the screws for fastening the plate holding springs, which now sit in guide slots for perfect alignment.

The introduction of the ‘pepper-pot’ air inlet design not only improves the appearance over the original injection moulded part, but offers greater safety and air flow efficiency. This aids towards improvement of battery life. Don’t worry, the new design remains compatible with all 220 hole and 400 hole push fit sampling heads.

Note for Distributors: Customer Details on Calibration Certificates

Every bioaerosol sampler we ship is calibrated before shipment using equipment traceable to national standards and supplied with a calibration certificate.

The calibration certificates have space for the end user’s name and address. If you provide this information to us on your purchase orders, we can add these details to the certificate to provide a more personalised service for customers.

Please be assured this information will be managed in accordance with our privacy policy.  If you do not want to or are unable to provide such details, we will to leave this part blank on the certificate.
