This project involved the development of a boiler dosing control system using

off-the-shelf parts and bespoke electronics. The electronic modules designed measure the pH levels of various boiler circuits and calculate the required chemical dosing to keep pH levels in balance.

Replacement of a twin 14 module PLC rack and embedded PC with no more than 30 relays, whilst retaining the same level of control and safety interlocking.  This project was completed in two weeks and got an effluent plant up and running when spares for the failed embedded control system would not be available for over 6 weeks!  It is still in use in preference to the more complex original system.

Our services extend beyond electronics into complete SCADA and PLC based control and instrumentation systems for the chemical, pharmaceutical and other process industries.  We have also undertaken projects in the paper and water industries.

With skills in PLC control, SCADA, AC Drives and all manner of instrumentation, we can be called upon to help in any part of, or the whole of a project on a consultancy, designer, installer and commissioner basis.

Another key benefit is our experience of remote telemetry systems, be they on large open sites or for remote isolated plant, such as pumping stations.  We can design and integrate such systems to cover all control and instrumentation needs.
